Fitness to Drive

Linda Horgan was part of a research project funded by the Road Safety Authority and RCPI National Office for Traffic Medicine in 2016. A number of publications resulted from this research to inform the discussion on fitness to drive in people with cognitive impairment.

Opening of Gael Scoil Uí Riada’s Playground “Cul an Tí”

Linda supervised two final year students (Chloe & with Dr. Helen Lynch, Phd, UCC) in their final year project to assist and design an appropriate playground that encompassed The NCCA curriculum, school children’s desires and allows the introduction of “risky play” so children learn to manage risk.
